The Tourbillon 1 is well underway with series production and I am sure you are just as relieved as our team is.
This week we have another video for you of Lenny building the first watch with our in-house touribllon. Lenny oversees watch assembly and most importantly he regulates all movements to ensure they perform as expected.
For series production we are working in batches and that has us completing a set number of movements and watches at a time. This strategy enables us to stage movement regulation which is the process of dialling in the movements performance. Each movement is placed on a regulating machine and this machine provides our watchmakers with a clear picture of its daily variation and amplitude. There are only so many machines and quite a few movements to prepare.

Movements that are going to COSC are prepared and regulated first. COSC certification doesn't happen overnight and time to certification can fluctuate depending on how their scheduling looks. Once those movements have been regulated and sent into COSC we can then start on the non-COSC movements.
It could be that non-COSC watches are able to ship a little earlier as they only require our in-house regulating. Afterward regulation is complete we can go directly to T2 (Casing & Waterproofing) followed by T3 (Packaging & Shipping).

We will begin shipping watches as they are complete rather than waiting for all to be finished at one time. This is not dependent on case number, but rather on the batch a watch is in and if it was sent to COSC or simply regulated in-house. We would love to be able to share with each and everyone of you where your watch is at, but doing so would greatly impact our teams use of time, which needs to be focused on assembly and regulation.
Enjoy watching Lenny case the Tourbillon 1. More photos and updates still to come.
Till next time...

This is so amazing, good to know that when I get mine using it as a daily wear is going to be no problem at all even with small stints to the pool.
PS, are my eyes deceiving me or does that look like a silver dial with the blue pvd back plate?
