For those of you lucky enough to have snapped up one of the 260 Tourbillon 1's in existence we have a little surprise in store.
Since the completion time of the Tourbillon 1, we have naturally continued to create new watches. Some folks checked in from time to time asking if there would be any updates for Tourbillon 1 and although it might have seemed we were occupied with other things we in fact kept working away on the sidelines to bring forth a highly requested item.
What was that item you might ask?
The most vocal request was for a bracelet to accompany the 904L stainless steel cases of Tourbillon 1.
The good stuff takes time and although we could take a shortcut like most and purchase an OEM bracelet we laced up our design boots and headed down the long road to create a custom bracelet design. As you might recall the Tourbillon 1 case had polished lugs and the case side was brushed. Customers had the option of either a brushed or polished top ring to customize their watch. Creating a perfect fit that complimented the interplay of brushed and polished surfaces of the Tourbillon 1 case design was key. Additionally, the link design would need to be comfortable and stylized to integrate with the semi-skeletonized design of the dial.
Material construction was vital to ensure the brushed and polished surfaces of the case integrated beautifully, therefore we continued with 904L stainless steel for both the bracelet and the butterfly clasp. Maximizing aesthetic and comfort the designers focused on proportion. To achieve the best proportions there is a taper from 22mm at the lugs to 18mm at the clasp.
Who is the Tourbillon 1 bracelet for?
It's for any of the Tourbillon 1 customers who opted for the 904L stainless steel case. For those asking if it will work with Lensman 1 the very short answer to that question is no. A slightly longer answer is that the case design and materials used in Lensman 1 are completely different from Tourbillon 1. The bracelet comfortably fits 130mm - 200mm wrists. Should you require extra links they are available at checkout and each link is 6mm.
How much will it be?
The 904L stainless steel bracelet is offered at 590 CHF. All tax, duty and shipping are included in the bracelets price for the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Mexico, UAE, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan Region, Malaysia, and Singapore. For countries with excess duty/tax, we cover up to 28% of the combined tax & duty value. Please inquire before placing your order if your shipping address is not located in one of these regions to lostintime@horage.com.

The steel bracelet makes a great addition to a fabulous timepiece!
For those of you who were unlucky to jump in the first few releases of the Tourbillon 1 and subscribed to receive Horage occasional emails, you may have spotted they’re doing a further limited run allocation on a first come first served basis for delivery late 2023. Just one option in grey/blue and this one comes with the steel bracelet as standard —the “poster” looks great! —and not far off the original pricing given this now includes taxes and shipping, certainly for anyone in UK. Not sure if this latest will be COSC as standard.
You can’t fault Horage for making the most of a good thing, the original Tourbillon 1, but I’m still secretly hoping they’ve got a Tourbillon with micro-rotor tucked away somewhere deep down in their ideation and development plans…
