Last week we were finally able to case the last sample movement. This meant we could get on with photographing all 5 samples that will be made available.
In previous posts and images shared it has been difficult for everyone to get a true understanding of the colours of each of the movements. This was due to us simply photographing under less than ideal lighting conditions as well with a mix of mobile and dslr cameras.
The images below are all representative of the true watch colours and my hope is they will help you to decide upon which colour watch you like best.
Here is the dark grey dial with black structured leather and white stitched strap.
The silver movement is a brighter choice over grey and looks amazing paired with the British racing green leather strap.
The blue is something very special and an instant eye catcher. Here we have paired it with a white leather strap that both men and women alike are gravitating towards.
The gold exudes a classic feel, but still retains a modern look. The strap utilized in the photo shooting will not be available as it simply did not meet our performance requirements. On February 29th the configurator will have all available strap options for you to mix and match from.
The fifth version of the watch has a movement that consists of two colours. Grey is placed on the dial and blue on the backside of the movement. This combinations allows for hints of blue to come through the skeletonized movement and that blue is further complimented by the matching hands. In addition a vegan friendly blue strap has been added.
Currently we are working on our configurator for the pre-order starting February 29th.
The configurator will enable you to select your desired case material, case finish, movement colour and straps of choice.
As always we look forward to your comments and questions.
Till next time…
Landon Stirling
Perhaps a stupid question but is there lume on the hands and, if so, what type?
Is that a stainless or titanium case for the dark grey dial on the picture shown above?
If it's in the U.S. (east coast).
I did not mean to confuse: it is the hour markers that are too light (apparently) while the hands appear fine.
It can be the way the light is hitting it. We have many more photos to share that will be included in the gallery of the sight. Possibly the attached shows the greyness of the hands better. Those hand colour suggestions would all look very cool and the options could be endless. The hands as they appear on all the watches are finalized now.
.
Is there a reason the hour markers appear rather light on the gray face? Is this just a quirk of photography? I think they should be bright black or blue to be clearly visible. The silver makes the markers appear darker. Assuming they are the same, I think the grey hour markers need more darkening or a brighter color - perhaps the raspberry of the jewels?
Could we see pictures of Marcella wearing each of the watches with that same photo angle? Frankly that might be more helpful than Landonsterling's opening photos. I'm having difficulty with Grey vs. Silver. Really hope I can see them in the flesh. May we reserve initially with a reserved serial # but an open color pending seeing them?
Would it be possible to share the lug-to-lug measurement? As I have a relatively small 6.25" wrist. Thanks
Still pushing for Tourage as the final name...
any details on German dates?
Tim.
Yes please, an east coast U.S. showing!!
If possible, I'd like to see close-ups of the same model(s) in the two metal cases. Or will this be clarified in the configurator?
'...Financing of a non-refundable half payment during the VIP Bird with the remaining payment due in September will also be made available...'
Does this mean Horage will finance, on request, the first half payment over a 6-month period? If so, what is the rate? Paypal is accepted on the website, may I assume it will be accepted for this purchase?
In the two colour version, is the blue back material the same as the all blue pvd version?
How long is warranty? When does it start, upon payment or delivery?
It may have been brought up before(???) but are there plans for a bracelet(s)?
Are the straps other than leather?
@landonstirling So will “Horage Apogee” be the watch’s name?? 😉
Wow, absolutely beautiful. Masterpiece of engineering. Thanks for sharing.
will the price be higher in the production run?
@landonstirling these are beautiful, is there a price listed somewhere for these? Also how do I sign up for email to hear more?
Seriously considering buying one. Too bad the event in Hong Kong is cancelled :-( Really want to see it in person and try it on before the pre-order.
Very striking, especially in blue. Wish I had a chance to see them in person, but a flight to Singapore or Switzerland is sadly not in the cards for me this month.
Amazing project. Is this manually wound or automatic? Also, the is the brand Horage engraved on the glass?
Wow wow wow!
So beautiful pictures!
Thank you for the sharing!
