I am not a fan. You have great isochronous balance spring which has great rate stability. My example has a great rate and holds it.
I much prefer the Aganhor Apanpit balance regulator system which is a regulator arrangement preserving free sprung operation. If you want to make it owner adjustable you might redo the King Seiko which had a screw hatch which accessed a regulator with a micrometer screw. If you provide a screw driver with a special bit and a level the rate is user microadjusted and it is all mechanical.
In short you don;t need it but if you are going to do it use a simpler all mechanical system.
