The Milestones of 2024
As 2024 comes to a close, many of us take some time to reflect on what took place in the past year. For all of us at Horage, 2024 was a significant year with many twists and turns, long days, landmark innovations and most importantly, delivering amazing timepieces to you, our most fervent supporters. We thought on this final day of 2024, we'd share a few of those milestones, just before the clock starts again on the stroke of midnight to begin 2025....and believe me when I say 2025 will be HUGE!
So, let us get started...
2024 was the year that Horage turned 15 years old!

To celebrate this landmark, we launched the 15/15/15 Campaign, allowing us to tell the story of our 15 years together with our customers. If you missed these articles, you can read them here:
We held a competition with 15 opportunities to win an Original Horage Omnium 35mm watch from our archives! A YouTube Live everyday over the 15 days giving away watches, intense, but hugely fun.

We announced the Golden Ticket campaign..
..where we started an open and honest discussion about the use of precious metals in the watch industry, the challenges of the use of some materials and the costs associated to this.

As a part of this we announced a prize raffle draw for all customers purchasing a precious metal cased watch from Horage.

Post the launch of the Autark Tourbillon and the all new Micro-Rotor Tourbillon Calibre in late 2023,
we unveiled a running prototype of the watch featuring the first K-TMR Micro Rotor Calibre. In typical Horage fashion, we were running ahead of the expected delivery timeline, which was originally set as Q1 2025, but we felt that Q4 2024 was on the cards!

We are delighted to say, as of the 31st December 2024, we have delivered over 95% of the pre-ordered Autark Tourbillons to their owners, giving many of them an unexpected Christmas gift.

As if all this wasn't keeping us busy enough, in early 2024 Horage moved to its new home in Factory 1!
Although we commenced the move in late 2023, it was only in early 2024 that the watchmakers moved into our all new, non-traditional Atelier, when it was formally opened!

We also opened our new machine hall around 2 km away from Factory 1, which houses our CNC machines, Lathes, Gear Cutting and Specialist machines.
We are always happy to accommodate visitors at the Atelier by appointment. If you are interested in visiting us, please drop us a message at lostintime@horage.com
2024 also saw many new watch introductions.
The Tourbillon 2 family expanded with a Limited-Edition Meteorite dialled model, adding to the Blue dialled Livre Du Durrow and the White dialled Grand Feu models.

This was the first model in the Tourbillon 2 range with a dial without the Power Reserve function. There were only 25 pieces of this special watch produced. Only 3 pieces of this limited edition remain available, be quick if you are interested!

The Supersede family welcomed a third model to the fold, the Supersede Dual Time
The Supersede GMT was the launch mode for the K2 Micro-Rotor calibre back in 2020, and since then we've added the Supersede Date to the range and 2024 brought the Dual Time to the family. This model brings an Office GMT complication to the range. The dial texture and colour reference another older, artisanal craft, Selvedge Denim.

Arguably the most significant announcement of the year for Horage was the Quest to Zero project, underpinned by the revolutionary and patented Horage/Miniswys MicroReg Technology.

We proclaimed this as the 3rd Revolution in modern mechanical watchmaking, a bold claim no doubt, but one validated and reinforced by many of our peers, both in and outside of the watch industry.
Alongside the announcement of the technology, we launched it to the market in the form of the conceptual Revolution 3 MicroReg watch. Reversed, Respected and Revolutionary, a bold statement piece, and one that caught the attention of the watch lovers and technology geeks alike. It's blown us away how many of you have supported this model, despite the longer than normal delivery timeline. Thank you!

The final model introduction of 2024 was arguably most elegant, the Omnium K2 Small Seconds 37mm.

After 15 long years and multiple iterations of the Omnium, 2024 saw the introduction of arguably the most elegant and refined iteration, the Omnium K2 Small Seconds 37mm. The first use the 2.9mm thin variant of the K2 Micro-Rotor calibre, allowing for a case profile of only 7.95mm, perfectly matching the 37mm diameter of this most iconic of Horage timepieces. The calibre was not the only first, we also introduced the option of PT950 Platinum as a case material for the first time, we believe the Omnium K2 is the perfect watch for this luxurious material.

Finally a few words on the Horage ‘World Tour’
One of our key objectives for the 2024 was to get out and see as many of you as we could, and to that end we went on tour! Below are a few highlights of out travels, something that we'll be doing even more of in 2025!
USA
We visited San Francisco & Los Angeles in April, attending the Wind Up Fair in SF and then meeting with watch collector groups in the wider California area. We'll be back in 2025!

Again, centred around the Wind Up Fair in New York we extended out trip and visited Philadelphia and Washington DC in October, meeting up with RedBar, Collector Groups and some of the OG customers of the Horage in Washington. Like SF, we'll be back, along with some additional US locations in 2025.

Europe
A mere one weeks after getting back from New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC we found ourselves in Germany at the end October 24 for the WatchTime Düsseldorf event. What an eye-opening event, the watch collectors in Germany are passionate people!

Another week later, another country and Lenny and I were in London in early November for the Watch Pro Salon. Very much like Germany, many passionate people, many of whom were excited to see Horage in the flesh for the first time!

Asia
A short break of 2 weeks, then we were off to Asia. First stop was Hong Kong, where we met up with our concierge, Ming Watch Company, and together hosted an invited group for an evening of watch talk and drinks.

Then the short hop over to Taipei, Taiwan where we presented a classical music concert and cocktail party to many of our customers and fans. All the cocktails were designed to represent one of our watch models, that was a party to remember!

Finally, along with Mark, I headed over to Singapore to meet with Michael and Phyllis from Swiss Watch Atelier IHT, our newly appointed concierge and watchmaker for Singapore. They had arranged a busy schedule for us, with multiple groups of watch collectors and fans, everything from one-on-ones, to an amazing cinema experience, where we put on a showing of our documentary, Chasing Microns.

It was time for home, but there was no rest for the wicked! It was over to Biel/Bienne to assist the team in completing and delivering the Autark Tourbillon watches to their expectant owners, and I mentioned earlier in this post, we are so please to say we've successfully shipped 95% of these to their new homes!

...and that rounds out our review of 2024, all that remains is for me to say a massive thank you to all the team at Horage for huge amounts of hard work, dedication and commitment to deliver what we managed to do in 2024, and of course for the support and pleasure all of you, our customers, have brought us though this year.
As we say in Scotland,
Slàinte Mhath, Bliadhna Mhath Ùr
David and all the team at Horage around the world.
That was a busy year 😶 Happy new year buddy! 🍻
