The forum section here on the website has been very quiet, there is a good reason for that. This might just be one of the most comprehensive forum posts to date, with some incredibly exciting news. With the release of the upcoming items, you can expect a lot of updates and details of projects coming from Mission Independence.
Much has gone into what I will unpack below and as always I would love to hear from you all so let me know in the comments.
Mission Independence
Community is at the core of Horage, without a positive community of enthusiasts taking part in our projects we would not be here today.
Our dedicated team have battled to keep Horage independent, whether it be in the industry or by innovating and bringing new extremely challenging products to light. The only true consistent contributor to our independence is our community of supporters.
We are at a stage in our company where more than ever we must move forward with our unwavering vision of independence and thus our latest roadmap "Mission Independence".
It's not a standalone project it's a culmination of projects that stand for innovation, technology and a team of optimists looking to deliver the best we have to the community.
Previous standalone projects such as Tourbillon 1 referred to as "Mission Tourbillon" or Supersede "The Second Summit" were pivotal for Horage to gain recognition as Switzerland's youngest independent movement developer. Today we take a different approach, we look to a culmination of projects, that together define our practice, our community and more importantly the future.
We have three very important watch projects that we are announcing today that individually express our directive to deliver excellence to the greater watch community and solidify the future of Horage. In addition to these watch projects, we are looking again to give back with another prototype giveaway.
There is so much happening and so much to communicate that the next weeks, months and well into the next year will be working to make it an extremely exciting time for the Horage enthusiast!
Watch Projects
Yi
Yi is not just a 17.48-carat diamond watch, it's a symbol of change. The name says it all as it is derived from "Yi Ching - Book of Changes". Diamonds cultivated in the lab paint a brighter and more sustainable future for us all. The Yi diamond watch signifies our maturity in the luxury jewellery watch sector and offers the industry an outlook on what is possible through technology.
There will likely be only two Yi diamond watches in existence. If you would like to inquire please email us at lostintime@horage.com
The website page is now live for you to discover the fascinating future of high-jewellery watchmaking.
Tourbillon 2
Tourbillon 2 signifies the maturity of our most prolific movement development project. We listened to our community when you asked for a more refined dial to showcase our K-TOU movement.
A Made in Switzerland, hand made, Grand Feu enamel dial was the starting point and we elaborated on this with a deep blue Livre de Durrow-inspired femto laser dial offering. Both dial options can be customized with either premium 904L stainless steel or precious metals, 18k 3N light rosa gold or 18K white gold to ensure enthusiasts at varying ends of both aesthetic and financial spectrum can find the timepiece that resonates with them most.
The Tourbillon 2 page is now live where you can check out all the details and specifications.

K-TMR – The New Horage Calibre
Horage is known for epic long-form journeys where we take the watch community along for the development journey. As in the past, there will be ups and downs and everything in between. Transparency is key and we look to delivering that to you.
It‘s been in high demand with continual requests from our community to marry our most sought-after calibres the K2 micro-rotor and K-TOU tourbillon.
The result is the K-TMR calibre and at just 3.6mm it‘s not just thin but powerful, cranking out just over 72 hours of power reserve. With advanced gear train geometries, a full non-magnetic silicon escapement and optimized micro-rotor weight the K-TMR will be one of if not the most efficient micro-rotor tourbillon calibers available.
The journey will start with both the development of the movement and sharing the production of parts that make up one of our most exciting developments in watchmaking today.
Autark Tourbillon
The K2 micro-rotor, K-TOU tourbillon calibre and the watches that house these movements were multi-year epics. From the start, drawings of each project were presented with development milestones such as achieving a power reserve of over 120 hours for Tourbillon 1, reaching 200 meters of water resistance and developing an entirely new micro-adjustment clasp for Supersede.
The name Autark Tourbillon is the culmination of two watches, the Autark, which stands for independence, and the Tourbillon 1, which enabled us to enter the select upper echelon of movement makers capable of proprietary tourbillon development. We will combine the K2 micro-rotor with our K-TOU titanium flying tourbillon to present to the world the most accessible Swiss Made automatic micro-rotor tourbillon; Autark Tourbillon.
The webpage for Autark Tourbillon is still in the works.

Landon Stirling
This is fantastic news, as an owner of tourbillon 1 and supersede gmt I can't wait to see more of exquisite work done by Horage. The most interesting for me is probably Autark Tourbillon. We need more info! @Landon Stirling
My questions would be the following:
Is Autark Tourbillon will be the only version of K-TMR movement?
Will there be a skeletonized K-TMR watch?
Is there ever going to be a perpetual or annual calendar in Horage ?
Thanks!
oh man, the new autark tourbillon has gotten me really excited. will the watch have any other complications besides the tourbillon? maybe a jump hour?
Hi, I am enjoying the process of learning about Horage. I am really interested as a buyer of the new Autark. However I would not buy a watch with a skeleton cut out on the dial as I associate this design feature with much less premium watches. All the other specifications are incredibly appealing though.
So, I'll stay tuned for the news updates, I'll watch the videos and I will support the journey and community in whatever way I am able. All the evey best,
Great releases, the Autark Tourbillon looks the most interesting - I'm looking forward to more details being released. I'm hoping (probably in vain) that there'll still be a date complication and maybe a slightly smaller case size. The 39mm case of the current Autark is great but the ~50-51mm effective lug to lug (due to the integrated bracelet design) is at the limit of comfortable/well proportioned for my 7inch wrist.
Congratulations - it's great to see Horage grow! If the size of the Autark Tourbillon is reasonable (39mm?), I'm in!
As Horage is the watchmaking face of your technical skills (The Plus etc.), I'd love you to elaborate on what it means for the group at large. Eg how are you doing on parts distribution, movement for 3rd party brands, and what are the skills you'll put in service of the rest of the industry? (lab grown diamonds, silicon parts etc)? Getting a behind the scenes overview would be fascinating.
Looking forward to continue the journey with you all!
To me, K-TMR stands for K- ToMorRow! It is leaping into the future. Congratulations Team Horage
Wow. Just wow. I'm really impressed with these releases. Maybe I shouldn't be, because they make sense in the context of past releases, but still. My opinion is not of much importance considering my being an armchair expert, but for what it's worth: Simply amazing work guys. I continue to immensely enjoy seeing where horage is going.
I am in love 😍
Congratulations on the evolution of Horage! These projects are very exciting ☺️. The immense amount of work that has already gone into this should be commended. I cannot wait to see how these projects develop down the line. Landon would be able to explain the marker symbols on the Tourbillion 2? My non-engineering/educated brain thinks they look like different screw heads. I am most anticipating the K-TMR calibre
Finally the time has come to merge the tourbillon with k2, perfect... it was already taking too long... and after this project I have to get a watch with a peripheral rotor that is really shock resistant😉, by the way it would be nice to dedicate some place in the forum to reviews of the same watches... I have a comparison of k2 against my spring drive 2 generation and my omega caliber 8800 where I would like to present the results that are really interesting, especially those related to the efficiency of generating energy from the platinum micro rotor against the inverter wheels of the omega 8800 and the magic lever system of my sprin drive 2 generation….
Hi Landon, LOVE the new launches. How much will the pre order be for the Tourbillon 2 blue dial version in SS? Thanks!
Precisely why I chose to support Horage with the Supersede GMT preorder because I had a feeling this kind of watchmaking was on the horizon.
Glad to see that great things are in the future and can't wait to be a supporter of the new projects.
So many excellent projects, bravo! That's all I will say at the moment...
Maybe also, that K-TMR, Lensman giveaway and Chasing Microns all sound amazing. Of course Tourbillon 2 and Yi are cool too 🙂
Would love to hear from you all 😊. Feel free to ask anything on the projects for Mission Independence.
