The Supersede project has been incredible and to think we've already crossed the one-year mark from when we first announced it on September 7th, 2021.
In that year, the watch has been very much a living project with the community voting on various aspects of it as well as multiple prototypes and improvements made to the design. There have been a lot of ups and downs, but Supersede and K2 are well on their way into production.

You asked and we delivered. 12:00 White with the FKM rubber strap.
Sometimes the little things in life make a big difference. Supersede is already an amazing timepiece with our proprietary K2 micro-rotor movement, 904L stainless steel case under 10mm thick, a 200-meter water resistance rating and four complications, all at the most accessible price for a Swiss micro-rotor. It’s also a true GMT watch with a day/night indicator for frequent travellers and with a power reserve of 72+ hours (3 days), you’ll never worry about running out of gas (so to speak). With everything going for it, sometimes a simple strap colour can really complete the look. What better way to do that than with a colourful new strap requested by you? As always, you asked and our team here at Horage found a way to make it work.
Over the past year, there has been a recurring request from the community for an orange rubber strap. I shared our history with the colour orange and our reasons for not wanting to pursue it. However, the requests for orange still kept pouring in and we simply needed to find a way to make it happen.
Check out the past forum post on our history with orange here. You can see this orange is quite a bit lighter.
Two things contributed to our reluctance for orange - 1. Finding a rich coloured orange that didn't remind of us of the past and fit well with the aesthetic of Supersede, and 2. Getting a stable and consistent luminous for the centre seconds and sub-dial orange hands. With the hands finally turning out as we intended, Tzuyu worked with the designers on the colour. In the end, they found a beautiful orange that matched the hands perfectly, a colour we hope you will all enjoy.
Dial Colours

Boreal Green

Atoll Blue

12:00 White

Jet Stream Grey

Transatlantic Blue
Supersede already comes with multiple dial colours including 12:00 white, Transatlantic Blue, Atoll Blue, Boreal Green, Jet Stream Grey and earlier on 24:00 Black. That’s a nice selection that accommodates many tastes, but a complementing strap can really complete the package. For starters, there’s the custom, in-house beautifully tapered 904L steel bracelet with either brushed or polished centre links that comes standard. Not only does this complete the integrated sports watch aesthetic, it comes with our in-house micro-adjustment clasp with 10mm of travel via the push of an internal mechanism. When you want to change out your bracelet for something a little more sporty, there are now six FKM rubber straps specifically for Supersede with black, grey, blue, red, purple and orange options. You can really dial in the look with all of these choices! One rubber strap of your choice is included with all full-payment pre-orders.

Supersede is an all-terrain sports watch, at home on the hiking trails or deep underwater, so an orange strap definitely helps with visibility. It also looks very cool with all five dial colours to boot. FKM rubber, also known as fluoroelastomer, has been popularized by Apple’s rubber Apple Watch straps in recent years. It was developed by DuPont and is superior to vulcanized rubber used in the past. It’s stronger and significantly more resistant to wear, heat and corrosion, while also being softer and more comfortable on the wrist. This makes the material ideal for the car industry as well, which uses it for seals, o-rings and hoses. Horage FKM rubber straps come with steel pin buckles and are ready for any outdoor adventure. Our newest and sixth deep orange FKM rubber strap rounds out the smorgasbord of colour options already available.
Pre-Orders Start October 25th
The next and last Supersede preorder round starts October 26th, so be sure to take advantage of the discounted price of CHF 5,900 and pick up an extra rubber strap at CHF 130 before they go to CHF 150 in the New Year. With so many dial and strap options, you’re sure to find the perfect combination. In addition, there’s an option to upgrade from a gold-plated tungsten micro-rotor to solid platinum for only CHF 390, which is a major discount as it would normally be a CHF 1,200 addition. It's our way of thanking the watch community for early pre-orders!
Are you excited?
Let us know what you think of the new orange in the comments!
Till next time...

Hey horage team! I was one of the many who asked about an orange strap. After looking through all your posts a few months ago, I finally came across the post from November 2021 where you went through the very topic addressing how orange played a role in the 2001 Tissot collaboration, wanting to bring a little of that into the supersede, but not wanting to repeat the past. Not gonna lie, I felt guilty when I finally read the post having asked when you had already addressed that very question quite thoroughly. All that being said, thank you for considering your customers’ opinions. You guys take the good and the bad from us, yet still take it in stride and go above and beyond. I can’t stress the appreciation enough. Thank you for being such class acts.
Can't wait to buy mine! Just have to decide on dial color... black is no longer available, correct? Thanks so much!
Going to be grey, orange, and purple on my order now... Serves me right for nagging you so much I guess!
Funny -- I originally wanted orange...but I'm sticking with red. Regardless, good on ya for offering choices. 😎
Oooo!! Can I change my order (#10274) from the red strap to the new orange please?

Excited for this! When will the next preorder round close?
Guys you’ve just made my day! If I could hug you all I would as you’ve just made the Supersede my favourite watch even before laying hands on it 😁
Love it, want it!
